Are you panicking now? Don’t be. While we don’t know what “simple” in his dictionary means, we might have an idea on what you should wear for that very special Valentines. All you need are the basics in your wardrobe. Your objective is to know how you’ll transform them into simple yet un-boring. Because we all know that simple and boring go hand-in-hand, and we don’t ever want to look boring. Welcome to the 8th part of our Valentines post series. If you have colored jeans, like red, green or even maroon, instead of pairing them with a solid black or white top, why not opt for a striped top? It’s still simple but with a little “oomph”. You can cuff your maroon jeans at the bottom or even wear it with a chambray which is also a perfect weekend look. The button-down shirt is a classic. It looks great with jeans or cuffed denim shorts. Add something cute into your ensemble like a statement clutch to complete the look. Here’s a simple look – denim shorts, black shirt and cute sandals. Remember that there isn’t really a completely simple look – you need to at least add one cute piece on your ensemble. I bet you have that strap mini dress you haven’t worn in forever. Now’s the time to wear one. Pair it with either sandals or basic white loafers for a sweet look. A polka dot dress is such a cute and casual daytime look. It’s simple but not too simple that you would think it’s boring. Team it up with ballet flats or cute strappy sandals. A denim dress is always a must-have. When you’re in a wardrobe dilemma even on other days, this is the solution to your problem. For your date, top it with a black fedora and finish it off with black chunky heeled sandals. Sport this simple and at the same time, dressy look – white cropped top, skort and some gladiator shoes in black and also, don’t forget the squares fold over clutch that is simply eye-catching. Who doesn’t love a black-and-white ensemble? Not so sure how to style your silver jeans? Pair it with a simple satin cami and laced fabric shoes. It’s light and fab without the effort. If it’s a bit chilly but you can handle the cold breeze, wear a cute knit pullover with denim shorts and t-bar shoes for that cute and simple look. A clean and fresh look with a light ensemble. What guy doesn’t love a girl looking so fresh and pretty? Instead of going all white, make either your top or bottom piece a different shade of color. Remember that basic pieces are totally in style right now. So you better take advantage of that now while you can. It doesn’t require that much effort at all. PinTweetShareShare0 Shares
