A suit is always safe and very professional-looking. Choose suits in dark colors like navy, black or dark grey. Your suit skirt should be long enough that it wouldn’t bother you so much when sitting down. It must feel extremely comfortable. Choose shoes that are closed with low heels and in the colors dark grey, navy or black. Your tops should be a classic button down shirt, a conservative blouse, a coordinated blouse or a formal blouse only. These should be in the color white or cream, or could be in dark colors like black, navy, dark gray. Wear less jewelry. Don’t wear bangles and dangling earrings because it’s too distracting. Choose jewelry that is classic and elegant. Remember that no jewelry is better than cheap jewelry. Keep your hair in a clean bun, straight and tucked at the back of your ears or in a ponytail. You want to look professional and respected. If you’re going to wear stockings, choose a natural color close to your skin tone. Your make up should be light and fresh-looking. Wear little eyeliner, mascara, and a tint of lipstick that will look natural on you. Some people have very sensitive noses so if you plan on wearing perfume, wear it subtly. No to strong perfumes. When going to an interview, always have your nails manicured. The last thing you need to see is your interviewer so grossed out when they’re about to shake your hand. 11 Be confident. Answer questions truthfully and just enjoy the experience. Your nerves will not help you at all. Pin2TweetShareShare2 Shares
